Oracle JInitiator 1.1.7.18 Download Page

If your browser has not been configured to use Oracle JInitiator, this page will allow you to download it now. Save the file (jinit11718.exe) when you are prompted. When it finishes downloading, go to the location you saved it in Explorer and double-click the executable. When the installation has finished, exit your browser session, then restart it and return to this page. The browser will then load Oracle JInitiator and download your Oracle Developer application.

* Oracle JInitiator 1.1.7.18 does not currently support Microsoft's Active Desktop.

** Oracle JInitiator 1.1.7.18 does not currently support Netscape Navigator 4.04 with the JDK 1.1 Smart Update, due to a bug in Netscape's Smart Update. Please use Netscape Navigator 4.04 without the Smart Update, or use other versions of Netscape Navigator.

Other minimum system requirements for the Oracle JInitiator on
Win32 are as follows:

- Pentium 90 mHz or better processor
- 12 MB free hard disk space (recommended 20 MB)
- 16 MB system RAM (recommended 24 MB)
- 32 MB minimum for running Oracle Applications

Note: Oracle JInitiator works best over direct LAN (Ethernet)
connections. It will also function properly over dial-up modem
(28.8 or better).
